About Us

Originally from Devon, we moved down to Cornwall in 2005. We really enjoy living by the sea and love the North Coast of Cornwall with it's diverseness of wild ruggedness & long stretches of sandy beaches.Being a large family with four children (and their firends!) we enjoy taking a break all together & are often looking for the perfect house to spend our holidays in. We have a farm near Newquay so when we are not harvesting, looking after the lambs and pigs & sorting out our Livery we love to make the most of the time we have spending time together, being outdoors and having lots of fun!

When we saw Gannel View for sale we just knew it was the right place to use for large groups wanting to spend time together. Set on the beautiful Pentire headland, it is just a hop skip and a jump from the beach. There is plenty to keep the children busy from surfing, body boarding & kayaking to the simple fun of building sandcastles, playing on the beach & rock pooling. There are also the most breathtaking sunsets.

We bought Gannel View in 2008 and wanted to make it a really comfortable and easy house to live in. After a few months of renovating and improvements we feel it makes the perfect holiday home for large families and groups of friends.

We have tried to think of everything from the cosy snug area with a games console, games room with a pool table to the large fully equipped kitchen.

The huge leather sofas in the lounge are perfect for getting together and watching a film after a day in the surf & the dining room offers that perfect place to gather for a meal.
